The month of October is filled with monster movies and horror flicks and November can bring a feeling of loss as the movies get tucked away for another year. But alas, if you are a true fan of the genre, relax.
Monster Mini Golf Medford has found the films for you!
First, a spoiler alert. These films are bad. Really, really awfully bad. To be enjoyed (if possible) by hard core horror fans only.

The first film
Monster Mini Golf Medford has chosen for you brings us back to 1972.
Blood Freak is a about a man who works on a turkey farm who agrees to participate in an experiment in which scientists are trying to find methods to modify turkeys. So he eats the experimental turkey meat, convulses, and the scientists leave him off by the side of the road. But oh no! What's happening now? You guessed it horror movie fans. The man's head turns into a giant turkey head and now he must go around killing people to get a fix of his drug. Or does he? Hmm....

What would the Thanksgiving holiday be without a viewing of
Thankskilling? This film has a puppet looking turkey going on a killing spree. You will be treated to the usual cast of characters, a la the Breakfast Club. The kids come home to celebrate the holiday, but will they make it back to school? You'll have to watch to find out. Be prepared for low budget humor, but one all time great line. Watch and see if you can figure out the one we're talking about. Unbelievably, you can also choose to view
Thankskilling 2, He Always Comes Back For Seconds.

Finally, we have
Home Sweet Home. Barely watchable, but does actually take place on Thanksgiving. An escaped mental patient comes across a family celebrating Thanksgiving and of course must kill them all. The movie strives to actually be scary, but it's an epic fail.
So what about monster movies? How do they fit in? Sadly, we did not come across any true Thanksgiving monsters. Well, other than a man who grows a turkey head and a murderous fowl. But for many people, Thanksgiving conjures up memories of monster movie marathons on tv. Hours of Godzilla and King Kong. So in our minds here at
Monster Mini Golf Medford, Thanksgiving will always be a time for monster movies.
Happy Thanksgiving from our families to yours!
